"Clint is one of the scrappiest and most rugged catchers in baseball. He hit .251 in 106 games for the Browns in 1953.
He started in pro ball in 1947 with Bisbee and spent four seasons with that club. He once had a string of 10 consecutive hits. During the winter of 1950-51, Clint played ball in Puerto Rico and topped all players in votes cast for the all-star team."
-1954 Bowman No. 69
