1951 Yankee of the Past: Jim Delsing

"After knocking off a .400 average in 12 games for the Yankees in 1950, Jim was traded to the Browns. He took part in 69 games for St. Louis, hitting .263.
In 1949, he hit .317 for the Yankees' Kansas City farm team, and .350 in nine games for the parent club. He was voted the best outfielder in the American Association.
Jim began as a shortstop and switched to the outfield the next season."
