He started in pro ball in 1938 and has pitched in the majors for the Yankees, Reds and Pirates. With Sacramento of the Pacific Coast League in 1949, Ken won 19 while losing 10. That year he participated in 36 contests and had an earned run average of 2.85, third best in the loop. The White Sox purchased Ken's contract from the Solons after the 1949 campaign."
